Bradford Leaving Care Event - 2009
On the 28th and 30th of October 2009, Void Arts documented the Bradford Leaving Care event, a celebration of achievement by the Bradford Leaving Care workers and the young people that they help. National Care Leavers week is an annual event and we were delighted to be able to attend and document this wonderful occasion.
The event on the 28th of October was held at Bradford College and included a wide variety of performances including dance, drama and a fashion show.
On the 30th of October, an inter agency football tournament took place at Manningham sports centre.
A hard backed book and dvd were made which includes footage and photographs from both of these days.
