A projected created by the Year 1's of:
​Beech Hill Primary School, Halifax.

VOID ARTS were commissioned to work with Year 1 pupils at Beech Hill Junior School in Halifax. Our theme was "All Creatures Great and Small" and it was decided that the work was going to concentrate on BIRDS, INSECTS and FISH.
 
The pupils started the project by designing their sculptures, looking at drawing and colouring and working together to plan their designs. The class learnt a wide variety of techniques to work towards their finished pieces, including; print making, textile art, painting and colouring. Each group produced a beautiful sculpture which is now displayed in the school.
