Photography projects are an ideal way for young people to explore issues of self identity and the community (and many other themes). As well as learning how to to use the camera, the group and individuals will be encouraged to find new ways of 'seeing' and expressing their ideas through the use of photography. Using professional computer software, the photographs can then be manipulated and re-worked to form a finished piece of work.
Finished photographs can be exhibited in a public or private arena.
The photography projects can form the basis of a book or magazine project which can be accompanied by text, poetry and drawings.
Projects and workshops can be run at your own centre or as part of an outreach project.
Finished photographs can be made into a beautiful hard backed or soft backed book, which is ideal for evaluation purposes and an extra special keepsake for the school, individual or organisation.
The books are also ideal to contribute towards a port-folio or c.v.
